I need to find out how I can get my daughter from my husband who is in the Air Force and now stationed over in Turkey.
Well I left Germany in Nov of 98 to come to Georgia with my mother in order to pay off some bills and then return to Germany 6 to 8 months later. My husband had agreed that this was a good idea, since the wages in Germany on base were extremely low. We had agreed that I would leave both of my children there, my son was 7 and my daughter was 18 months old. He told me that if I started to miss them too much, he would send them to me.

Well in Dec of 98 I purchased a car and put it on our car insurance. He discovered it, and told me not to come back to Germany. He told me that he could not deal with our oldest son, so he sent him to me in January of 99. I begged that he not seperate our children. I told him to send my daughter with him as well. He refused, and sent my son anyway.
Since that day I have been contacting his commanding officer, attorneys, the senator (Cleland), my congressman (John Linder), all to no avail. All they can tell me is that it is a legal issue and we can not help you.

I find it very disturbing that no one can seem to help me. All I want is to be with my daughter again, and to have all of my children in one place. We are still legally married, no seperation paperwork in place.

I last visited my daughter in March of 2000, because my husband said that I could come and get her and take her home with me. Well the night before the flight he took her to stay over one of his friends house and did not bring her home. I was forced to leave without her.

I lost contact with my spouse in January of 2001, I just recently discovered that he was in Turkey now. Please if anyone has any suggestions as to what I can do now, it would greatly help.

I can not get on the military base because I have no ID card. It has been expired since September of 99'.
