I find this forum pointless and without merit. Maybe its only for the inside humor that you lawyers and judges laugh at in chambers while someone else is being railroaded through the system. I am 45 years old and never been arrested, (well once at 15 for misdominor possession) I didn't think my Dad would ever stop whipping me. Anyway my wifes son 15 at the time was arrested and convicted sentanced to 18 years for agg. assault because a 18 year old boy twice his size had been beating the daylights out of him for 10 to 15 minutes because he was bothered by him. 15 year old was forced to defend him self and he did a darn go good of it too (no details) Long story short with a 99.9% conviction rate in this county he never stood a chance and he spent the next 8 years in prison. He will never be able to overcome the stigma of his record that will follow him for rest of his life. We spent 10's of 1000's of dollars trying to keep him out of prison because of bad advise and lousy worthless lawyers promising the world and delivering nothing.

My point is I see hundreds of new post from desprite people in bad situation for whatever reasons most of which have had many views but have receive zero or insulting reples. Why do you guys waste everyones time with these forums. You guys must be getting payed just to be logged on. I am no lawyer but I can give better advise than you all are offering. I found this also to be true in the civil forums that I origanally came to this site for looking for some answers about preditory lending scams. What's the deal? Maybe you guys have no answers or solutions and we are all just defendants waiting to be accused of a crime so we can throw away all of our future earnings to the legal system.

I find the automotive and motorcycle forums very informational and members are willing to help you solve problems, often they request that you report back with your results of there advise. Check them out maybe you will learn something from them. But I doubt it.

I agree that some on here only serve the purpose of making jokes but there are a few on here who are very helpful. You just have to know how to ask the right questions.

Have any of you found any other legal advice site's?

Well if your stepson served 8 years, this forum didn't exist when he was at trial. Everyone here can cite examples of people who don't receive justice or fairness. For every story, there is another side.
Often those complaining here are complaining because we have to tell them the very news they hoped they could avoid, caught them is a web of lies or wouldn't assist them in committing a crime, sometimes they actually thank us for our help.
No one here is getting paid for their advise.
We don't always agree.
There are those who after years of hearing it all have raidar, others who will believe anything at face value and many with no experience or qualification and an agenda.
Objectivity can be a hostile word for some.
After reading your complaint, I read one of your posts, it confirms what I have said as well.....re a rapist with a 155 year sentence who's FIANCE wondered hoe she could get his sentence reduced.

That post was so rediculous I almost don't believe it. Maybe she knows about the corvette you gave away last year. I would think shes a shoe in for this years grand prize.

If its true someone needs to kill that rapist ******* or maybe suit him up in full millitary combat fatigues with american flag tatooed on his chest and drop him off in Bagdag somewhere. We can then all watch him lose his head on the internet.

Why would the "system" that you represent waste my tax money not to meintion destroying some good kid's life (He will never, ever, ever be able to
get a job with a felony embezzlement conviction) for a stupid mistake that he made then confessed to because of shame and guilt. His employer didn't run to the police even though he know who did it. A simple agreement to pay back the money would have resolved the matter. That could have been handled at the Police station without the DA getting involved. He will pay ten times the $2000 he stole in legal fees, fines, court cost etc,etc. and still never excape the record they keep. When is enough, enough? I guess we just build more prisons, lock up everyone that makes a mistake, give them nothing to do. Take away any job training or education beyond a GED then turn them out again without any means to support themselfs. We are manufactoring career criminals and for what? Sombody is cashing in on it you better believe it....

Now have you worthless forum and keep em coming. After all they beleive in your system. You depend on it.

p.s. You might want to check my spelling I don't use spell checker. Do you?

This was a nice tasty rant taking over a post, where someone was getting some very Valid advice, from some of our most respected posters.

You feel to me, like someone who has just been kicked off... but that is just my Radar speaking as Doc Rmet has said.
