What is the name of your state? Florida

My husbands X girlfriend evidently has a couple of grand theft warrants out for her. She hasn't lived here in over a year.

I guess this is the last known address for her. We had a sherrif come to the house with the warrant looking for her. We told him she no longer lived here and he left.

A week later 3 sherrifs pulled in our drive and knocked on the door looking once again for his X. We told them the same as the first officer that she hasn't lived here in over a year. They told us if they could search the house they wouldn't bother us anymore, and of course we let them. They searched the closets and under the beds, and thanked us for our cooperation.

3 days later, at 2:15 in the morning, another sherrif is out in the driveway shining his spotlight on the house and calling our house phone! We answered the phone and the sheriff asked for his X girlfriend, we told him no one was here by that name, and hung up! We went back to bed and unplugged the phone. He soon left.

When is it going to be enough? Is there something we can do about the harrassment? We have let them do everything they asked. This coming up and calling the house in the wee morning hours is beginning to really aggrevate us.

Thank you in advance.

Either give them her current address if you have it, or, call the Sheriff's Department and ask to speak to someone in charge (a lieutenant or higher). Tell them about the situation and ask them to notify officers that the woman no longer lives there.

It MIGHT stop the calls and contacts. But, it's no guarantee until the woman is arrested.

Thank you for the response. I wish we did have it. The last we heard she was in Orlando, but that's all we know.

You would think she was John Dillinger with the way they are acting. :)

Thanks again, and we will do what you said about speaking to a supervisor.
