What is the name of your state? Minnesota

I worked for a company that eliminated my position. They originally refused to pay me for outstanding hours until I contacted the State DOL. The DOL said that I needed to send an income request letter to the company and they needed to respond within 48 hours. I received a check from the company 3 weeks after my request date. I know that there are laws stating that they need to respond to my request, but I am not sure what they are, or what I should do. Thanks in advance for your help.

So you've been paid what you were owed? If so, then it would seem the matter has been resolved.

If you want to contact the DOL and tell them your employer didn't respond within the 48 hours they told you was necessary, you are free to do so.
