Who has what rights?

We all live in Texas. My husband's exwife has custody of their 2 children- age16,& 15. The 15 year old (Just turned 15 this past Dec.), gave birth in January. She & baby's father (now, 17yrs) are not married. Exwife initially allowed the boy, baby's father to move into her home following baby's birth. The teen parents then decided after about a month to move to his mother's home. All of this without notifying, much less asking, my husband, daughter's father. Now, 15 yr. old daughter & baby live with the boy's mother & family. Not a very stable environment. What if any rights does my husband have? Can we just pull up to the boys house and MAKE daughter and baby come with us? Now that she is a parent does that give her any rights unto herself even though she is still a minor? My response:

While the two of them may chronologically be "minors", under the law however, they are both "emancipated minors" now that they are parents. As such, they have all the rights, duties and responsibilities as adults, and you and your husband have no more rights to "parent" them any longer, or to "make daughter and baby" do anything.

As a matter of fact, if you guys keep this "attitude" going with your husband's daughter, she just might follow the law "to the letter" and keep the two of you from seeing the child. It's now her unquestionable "right" to do that.

So, be nice to them. Or they just might "pull the plug" on you both.
