Does the city police need to keep written records of day-to-day accuracy testing of the radar they use to cite speeding tickets?
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, and the Texas Department of Public Safety, a day-to-day user external accuracy testing of radar and annual professional third party calibration are in their radar operation manual.
Is there a regulation on the city police to follow these operation manuals and where can I find it in writing?
And does the city police need to keep a written record that they are following these regulations?

Thanks for your response in advance :)
