CA. a lawyer is defending his client, of a MVA, for tramatic brain injury and cognitive deficits. the lawyer hires an expert witness, a neuropsychologist, who after 1 visit (which was mostly taking a long questionaire) disagrees and says he does not think that the client has a brain injury. would the lawyer throw out the brain injury claim, which includes loss of wages & future earnings, on 1 doctors opinion? or would he look for a second opinion in order to better prove his clients injuries? keep in mind that in this case there are 6-7 other doctors (in TBI profession), that have diagnosed this client with tramatic brain injury and other cognitive deficits.
