What is the name of your state? Ohio.
I would like to know why do they(SSD) drag their feet for so long to approve your claim.
I have been denied twice and am waiting to go before the Judge,What gets me is that it has been over two years since my apeal to the Judge and with all the medical evidence that has been sent I would think it would be a no brainer.I have called down to the court but they say they cant tell me when my apeal will be heard. I know I'm dealing with the Goverment but this has gotten beyond rediculous

I believe the reason is that they push the people to the point of being destitute(sp) and seeing if you really CAN work or not. I guess they figure that no one would live with NOTHING and lose anything they had if they at all possibly could work.

The other reason is that there are so many people with false claims. You say your medical records should be a no-brainer, however, what is your disability? You have to understand the people that are out there that try to scam the system with false claims or even have something that CAN make them disabled, they just aren't there yet.

I have two aunts with fibermylagia(sp). One gets up every single day and works as a waitress. There are days that she's in tremendous pain and can barely move but she gets up. The other looks for reasons not to work, has been denied by even the judge for SS and is trying to appeal all of that. She hasn't worked in 3 years. She is SCAMMING... I've seen the proof of it. It is people like her that make it rough for the ones that really can't work.

If it's a no brainer , and you docs . believe you can not do any type of work, consult an SSI Attorney .

If it's a no brainier they will take the case . If they think it's a brainier they will not .

I know ther are alot of scam artists out there but I cant fake MRI's and X-Rays or Doctors reports.
My doctor has me on Morphine for the pain because surgery is not a option but I guess I'm in for a long fight.
