My childrens mother passed away last summer.she and my children were living with her mother when she died.I contacted her when i found out thier mother died about getting my children from her, she said the children were not with her. She then went to the court house and told the judge that she had no idea where i was and was granted temporary custody.I had to go through the pro bono program so it was 2 months before iwas given an attorneyThen another 2 months before i got a court date.when i was at the court wiating to see the judge. i was served papers from her attorney for custody. In her affidasvit to the court she made all types of negative statements about me of which i was unable to address since i first saw the service 20 minutes before we saw the judge. The judge granted her temporary custody and gave me no visitation rights pending a report from a guardian ad litem. The order from the judge stated the guardian had to give a report to to court within 20 days.It has been two months. I have done my interview with theguardian and he has come to my home.He told me before he left my house that he was going to the grandmothers house to talk to my children. Then he would have his report done that week. That was two weeks ago.I called his office two days ago to see what was taking him so long. His assistant tells me that he requested that all parties speak to a phsycologist. And that i should talk to my attorney. So i go to my attorneys office on friday. They were going to mail me a notice of the date of the appointment which was on wensday the 9th.That would have given me only two days to raise 1400.00 I think this lawyer may be working for the grandmother. When the temporary custody was granted my attorney signed an agreement that put me a thousand dollars behind in child support the day it was signed. If anyone can, answer me this can i get the pro bono to give me another attorney. And why idoes the judges orders only seem to apply to me?My sons birthdays are coming up this month. Also the child support that was set was based on a previos order set three years ago before i had another child and wife to support my attorney doesnt seem to want to help me get it modified can i go before the judge myself on this matter?Im finding im getting to the end of my rope can someone tye a knot for me?
