Oklahoma

Hi there everyone,

Haven't been around too much lately as things have been going pretty smoothly for the most part.

Ran across a potential problem earlier tonight. My newest son had a rather shocking entrance into the world earlier this month (born at home, accidentally, without help from anyone) and the local newspaper approached us about doing an article. I agreed to do it. The article provided some misinformation about the actual events from the day baby was born... As well as not listing my older son's (the one I usually post here about) full name. It just listed his name with my last name rather than his name with my name-dad's name.

Dad saw the article at the police station during our exchange tonight and later sent a text pitching a fit. He wanted to know why I was giving out the wrong name for our son.. When in reality I didn't give the reporter ANY last names for the children, she just took it upon herself to give the two older children my last name only.

He's threatening court again, and I just wonder if you folks believe I have anything to worry about with this one?

I certainly did not intend for this to happen at all. The newspaper article has caused nothing but grief since it came out (due to all the incorrect information the reporter gave). I most definitely learned my lesson.

Thank you all for any input!

Dawn, all I have to say is Congratulations, welcome back and Hi :)

I honestly cannot think of any court in the land dinging you for this.

You just get back to being the best Mom that you can.

"I'm sorry, I don't know why they did that. They never asked and I never gave them last names for the kids and I didn't see the article until it was printed."

Suggest to him that he contact the writer about her error so she can print a correction if she sees fit.

Contact the writer and ask him to correct it and throw one line about the correction somewhere you can find it and show it to his father..

Congrats on the newest, impatient :) arrival.
