He was hiding in the bushes when I brought my frind home to her house after surgey. Her 13 yr old daughter and I were unloading the car when he ran from the bushes scratchin and bruising my arm and knocking me down twice knowing I just had major knee surgery. He then caleed me names and drove off in the car all in front of the 13 yr old. I called 911 he was arrested but he has an attorney and money and he keeps getting it post poned. Any advice?

As in all cases, the best thing for you to do is to document everything that ever happens. This includes pictures, de[positions, and any records that are relevent to the case. If you really want to put this person in their place, first get a protective restraining order against them. If you havn't done so already. Second is when the next court date comes up, show up and talk with the DA and tell them that you would like to address the court. When you are given the opertunity to speak, tell the story and tell them WHY it is important that they continue with his hearing then and there. Be as believing as possiable, and say nothing but FACTS. If that doesn't help you. I know of a website that has FREE paralegal help that can get you forms to file your own motions against him. There truely is help out there for things like this. Here is the web site
