I reside in California, have a CA drivers license. I was traveling through Wyoming, the speed limit was 80. Cruise control was set to 85. I must have missed the sign that said the speed dropped to 75. The officer that pulled me over said he got me at 86.
1) Will I get points on my CA driver's license
2) I plan to pay it, but out of curiosity, if he wrote down the wrong information of my car (year was completely wrong) could I actually fight the ticket and win? I was told by a friend that I could, on a technicality. Just curious if that was true.
My main concern is if I will be getting points though.
