Can my employer make me pay for my own health insurance, while I am off work and collecting Worker's comp funds? I have been off since last October, had several surgeries, and will not be returning to work any time soon!

The employer generally has no obligation to maintain health coverage at its expense, although you probably have a right to COBRA it. Also, check the firm's long term and short term disability policies. and your rights may be different under some states' workers comp laws. It possibly can depend on what state you work in.
