My husband and I are going to file the I-485. He has been working in the US for over two years. He supported himself before our marriage. Do we need to fill out the Affid. of Support? Does his employer need to? Alone, he doesn't make over the min. required, and I alone don't, however, together we do. Any suggestions? Also, how long after his visa expires must we file? It expires in January 2001. If we apply in January, are we still safe? The money has been an issue as we don't have enough to file today, but will after Christams. Will we be okay?
