What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NC

Could it really be legal for my employer to stream live video and audio of me at work on the internet? Don't they have to have my consent for audio? What if they do it anyway? Thanks. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Completely legal? Really?

A family friend with a legal background mentioned that my employer couldn't stream/post a likeness of me (video) ***with my voice *** without prior consent. He said that the video is fine, but as soon as they take audio as well, it's another story. Is that not true? In NC I know wiretapping laws are such that on a phone call, if one party says no, then for instance a TV station couldn't air the phone call. Do the laws only specify TV and not internet publishing?

Thanks.

Without the consent of at least one party to the communication, it is a felony to willfully intercept, endeavor to intercept, or get any other person to intercept any wire, oral, or electronic communication or to use any device, which transmits by radio, wire, or cable, to do so. N.C. Gen. Stat. § 15A-287(a)(1).

But if your employer tells you that they will be doing it for all employees and you don't quit immediately, then you have consented.
