Would This be Included in a Chapter 7?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana

I'm goign to try to make this less confusing than it was....

I have a lot of unsecured debt as a result of making attorney payments with a credit card for years.

During the custody suit the GAL filed for fees. She was awarded about 60% of her fees. She filed an appeal, and the Appeals Court has sent it back to the original judge.

I have to file bankruptcy, Chapter 7. Can I include the GAL bill in my bk, or if the judge orders me to pay her more money (probably $20,000+) would I have to come up with the money? I cannot wait for a judgement. If I am able to include the bill in my bankruptcy and the judge rules that the GAL gets more money will my ex have to pay all of the money due, or will my portion be cancelled due to my bankruptcy? If I file while she is suing me can I be held liable for the attorney fees that she is attempting to collect as well?

Thank You for your help.

I really need to know,so I can do something. I am going to use a bankruptcy attorney, but I am concerned that I will file bankruptcy and then the judge from the appeal will order me to pay the GAL $20,00+ that I do not have at this time.

Can I include the GAL's appeal for fees in my Chapter 7?
