What is the name of your state? Iowa

What exactly does this mean? I'm not in a court case right now, but following the filings on court online search for a friend of mine. The respondent then filed a resistance to temp writ of injunction. Just wasn't sure what the writ of injunction meant. Tx.

A writ of injunction is a court order saying, "Stop doing [whatever it is]."

A resistance to a writ of injunction says, "I am going to keep doing [whatever it is] and I'll tell you why: [explanation]."
