I thought this was behind me but apparently i thought wrong.
My XW and her new BF have been calling me threating to have the final decree overturned. I realize they are both in contempt for calling me in the first place but I am concerned somewhat as to the possibility of them taking me to court and overturning the judge's orders.
She is in contempt of ever, and I mean every order in the final decree and has at least 10 arrests, that i know of, for various infractions including DUI, Possession of a Controlled Substance and assault. The most recent within a years.
Does she have a viable case to overturn the final decree? Should I hire an attorney? Are there any alternatives to an attorney?
I realize there is a lot missing here and will await any questions you may have.
Thank you in advance for your reply.

Why are you not filing for contempt each and every time she breaks the order? You are letting her get away with this.

I don't have the cash to hire an attorney, she is $14,000 in rears for child support and another 14K in health insurance coverage.
That's why I was wondering if there is anything I can do as a layman as far as filing contempt charges. The Office of the Attorney General has been absolutely no help in collecting the back child support.

You can google the heck out of how to do it without an attorney:
file contempt of court AND Texas - Google Search

Divorce Source: Enforcement of a Texas Order Via Contempt

ps -- the term is "in arrears." ;)
