What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TX

Hi there! I entered the states as a tourist then filed an application to extend the 6 months I got on my I-94 with another 6 months but during the time my application was in pending status I filed another application for h-3 and during the time I was pending for the h-3 I received a positive answer for the i-94 extension but a negative answer for the h-3 which in the denial letter they told me I have 30 days to leave the states but in those 30 days I filed an application for another type of working visa, and received a request for more evidence, send them but eventually got denied with no option to appeal but then I filed a motion to reconsider which eventually go denied also, it's been almost two years since I entered the states.. A lawyer I consulted with told me that as long as I'm in pending status (but not for appealing for something I received with no option to appeal) I can stay in the states (but not work).
My question is if my lawyer is right and my status is legal to stay (which means that next time I will enter the states they won’t tell me that I broke the law and therefore cannot enter the states).
Can I theoretically stay in the states years over years and apply for a different visa every time? It takes them few months to decide for each application so basically there are enough Visas to stay for several years…

pfft, right.
You'd better hope you don't run into ICE anywhere.

Look into what CIS thinks about 'frivolous applications'.
