So Facebook is protected? Is that a Federal and/or Texas State law?

LOL no facebook private messages are not protected.

You can be fired for talking to a coworker on facebook if your employer decides that you should be fired for this reason. You've been told this now by four people. What part aren't you getting?

Ok but what are the chances?

How the **** do you expect us to tell you what the chances are? We don't know your employer. We don't know your co-worker. We don't know what kind of monitoring your employer does. We don't know any of the variable factors that go into making that decision.

It is clear that you are looking for some kind of reassurances that you can continue this behavior with no consequences. If that is what you're looking for, the Magic 8-ball, Madame Sylvia, or the aforementioned crystal ball will give you as accurate a guesstimate as we can.

Since it is so glaringly obvious that you have no intention of stopping what you are doing, I'm through wasting my time on you. But after you are fired, don't come back wanting to know what you can do about it or whining about how you were justly fired or demanding your chances at unemployment.

Hope the thrill is worth it.

You might as well ask us the odds that the buttered side of your toast will end up face down when you drop it.

We cannot predict that.

We won't predict that.

You have been told (over and over and over):
  1. that it's perfectly legal to fire you over this; and
  2. that no one anywhere in the world could possibly have any idea whether your employer will decide to fire you over this.*
Please explain why you are having so much trouble understanding these very basic concepts.

* And please don't ask again for our "experience" with this. We have no experience with this - we don't know your employer, we aren't mind-readers, and there simply aren't any statistics out there on this sort of thing.

So you never see each other at work, have no intention of doing so and won't see each other outside of work, yet you exchange sexual messages? There's something seriously wrong with you and the other person. Please go away.

So, to recap.

You have never talked to or touched this person... and probably never will.

You do, however, feel comfortable in engaging in sexually explicit behavior.

Dude, I would fire you just for being creepy.

Further, if the sex involves "furries", I swear I am going on a rampage.

Thanks a lot, Jeff.
