Business bankruptcy and personal.

I too would like to know if I wrote a personal guarantee for a franchise and they later choose to go to court can they attach my wages or go after future earnings. I am now out of business and have been told that the only way to avoid having them attach my wages is to file personal bankruptcy. Is this true or do i have other options? Thank you!

Please post your request for advice in it's own thread. Just because your situation may seem to you to be the same, it may not be. And if you are in another state, different laws may apply. This only confuses the thread when there are two situations intermixed.
