can a HOA tell me i can't drill a hole in my ceiling to put up a ceiling fan from my understanding i own the fram all wiring and isulation as well as plumbing and can an hoa tell me i have to put 40% down on the unit to buy it or are they just a bunch of nose bags

what do i own in a condo

yea i always read condo doc's and communicate with the hoa and even request that someone from the board be there. theres never anything about drilling holes in the ceiling to mount fans. mostly it's just things like don't be a pig and keep your area clean and noise levels common stuff wich is understandable.
