I am so angry I could scream!

You know Dad and his attorney filed an ex parte request but did not get a hearing behind my back instead a hearing was set before my 30 answer period was up.

Well here's my issue, I got a job with the USPS and my orientation is the same day as the hearing, I have been working on getting this job since Nov 2010! And now my attorney is being given a hard time getting a continuance. If I do not show up for my orientation all the work and testing I have done is out the window and I don't have my job.

My question is this, IF I don't get a continuance and end up loosing this job before I ever get started can I request sanctions due to the twisted half truths and blatant lies that got this pushed into court with an ex parte instead of going the route set out by NC statutes?

This is an excellent opportunity for me and the kiddos and I'm on the verge of losing it before I ever get started!

That's what I thought he could do. But I'm guessing they are creating problems because they want the ex parte to go through and Dad thinks he can get custody that day.

When my attorney called today he said "I'm going to have a hard time getting this continuance, I'm trying to put it off for that Friday"

Because my orientation is 4 days. It's a headache and it wouldn't be happening if "Dad" hadn't called me unfit and lied in his papers


I have tried for almost a year to work with this man but it is impossible when he SEEMS to be trying to stick it to me every chance he gets.
