Guess I'm **** out of luck then. $1000 repair on a $1400 purchase made 4 days ago.
3000 to fix dude. 200% the cost of the car.

WoW... Quite a price change there. Either that, or the story just keeps changing to try to justify sticking it to the seller because you didn't have that car checked out before you bought it.
First it was $1000 to repair, and suddenly it has become 3x more? That's quite amazing, considering the only change was those allegedly illegal compression fittings. I seriously doubt it would cost $2k to replace those (especially when someone else already suggested it might be as much as $100, maybe a little more, to do it).
