New Mexico. Would it be difficult to reverse an adoption in my State?

In the case of a foster type adoption, if significant psychological history was withheld by the placement agency to push the adoption through, in an ill-concieved placement that puts younger children in the home at risk, a disruption may be possible.

However, a "I'm done with the relationship with the other parent and want out" reversal won't happen.

Under any circumstances, it's going to involve an attorney.

The simplest situation would be if everyone involved agrees that the biological parents will take the child back from the adoptive parents. In that case, it would probably be simplest just to have the biological parents do an adoption - which requires an attorney.

Almost any other scenario is going to be more difficult.

It will be interesting to see what the situation is - if OP ever returns.
