My husband has agreed to adopt my son, Michael. His biological father is deceased and i have full custody. Does this need to be done thru an attorney or thru the county we live in?

it is usually recommended to have an attorney at the very least look over the paperwork for the adoption process. so many things can go wrong. and adoption is not something you want to leave any loopholes.

it will need to be done in the county where you reside.
