That is exactly what I thought. When all of this child support stuff happened. He had an attorney, I had an attorney, and child support enforcement gave my children an attorney. The order states that the payments are to be garnished from his wages. The court orders we received were 1) the order for child support. 2) A court order for garnishment of $121 per week.
When I called to find out why it was not taken out of his payroll, like it should be. They told me that none of his child support orders are being taken out of his check, and asked why I should be any different. I asked why they were violating the court order. I was told that as long as he is paying something, that they do not want to "stir the pot." They said that in their experience, if a man is paying something, but not the entire amount, that if they instate the court order, they will probably scare him off and he will quit paying and quit his job. I found this very irritating. I have called multiple times.
This order has been in existent for 2 years.
