What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TN and FL

I have a greencard but no passport. Is it still possible to travel outside the US? If yes, what document or form do I need to apply with USCIS to enter a non-US country and re-enter the US? Travel time would be fewer than 5 months. Thanks in advance.

You need a passport to reenter the US no matter where you're going.

You're also legally REQUIRED to have a current passport - you agree to this as part of the privilege of being an LPR.

You use your greencard and your passport from your original home country. If that has expired, you go to your consulate and renew it.

Native passport would indicate one from the home country. Lost or expired, yeap, off to the Consulate or Embassy!

(OP is not eligible for a US passport)
