We don't usually dispense sympathy anyway, poolcbp. ;)

You are not really providing enough information for any of us to help you determine if there is a legal action for you to pursue or not. Could you please answer a few questions?

You want to sue your roommate for bills (medical, educational?).

When were these bills incurred?

What were these bills and why do you think your roommate is responsible for them?

What does your roommate's job at a restaurant have to do with anything?

Are you currently employed and being harassed at your workplace?

I have to give MAJOR KUDOS to the VOLUNTEERS that gleaned any insight to OP's intention. I, personally, was totally baffled. (yeah...perhaps as always!! :P)

I can't speak for Zigner or Proserpina, but I can say with confidence that I gleaned no insight to OP's intention. :)

(It's also Monday. I don't DO Mondays. I hate Mondays more than I hate the Ravens. Almost. What that has to do with anything is beyond me, but anyhoo... :D )
