I know! Does it help that I admitted it? I was going through a nasty custody situation with my ex, actually several years ago, and I was on this site seeking advise. OhioGal was brutal. Long story short, unfortunately, dad disowned my daughter her for not choosing him over me and dissed her at her high school graduation. She is now a junior at UGA and we are closer than two peas in a pod. I work with her on her father issues, but it is sensitive ground.

Again, my username was sweetea or sweetteaandcream (Aveda makeup), I don't know and it doesn't relate to this thread. Sorry if I offended anyone, not my intention at all!

Why? It doesn't bother me at all since it had absolutely nothing to do with the current issue. Seriously? Think about it? Would you actually remember a username and password that you used a few years ago for an issue, if you happened to come back to that same forum for another, totally unrelated issue, several years later?

I would probably be able to figure mine out but I wouldn't expect others to do the same.

One of the banes of my professional existence is that my boss sets up usernames and passwords all over the internet for various legitimate purposes but can never remember what they are unless its something that he accesses regularly..ARG!

Got it! I was "sweetea&cream". Look it up - the good, bad, and the ugly. Really, it has nothing to do with the conundrum I find myself in today! Life is full of different challenges.

The poster may very well have a good cause quit. An employer doesn't get to make material changes to a job and shove it down the employee's throat with the perception that you either take it or you'll get no UI if you quit over it.

The employer is allowed to change the requirements of the job. Furthermore, the OP is clear that she can meet the new requirements without a problem. While I agree with you in principle, it doesn't really apply to this thread.

Yes they can unless you refused to accept the new job.. If you have worked at the job ten minutes, even if it is a terrible demotion you are considered to have accepted that job with that pay and that job description. Therefore you have almost no chance of approval for u.I. if you resign now.Your cheap boss is trying to get you to resign so they dont get higher unemployment tax rates. It will make no difference what you do right now on the job as long as you refuse to resign.They will threaten snd be dissatisfied hoping to goad you into quitting. Do not do it unless you have s good job to go to. Aftet they tell you to go home and you have filed for u.I. you may want to run it by the EEOC too.
