Hi, I just received an red light violation ticket (camera). I was making a left turn when the light was yellow. Detail is as below.

My car was already in the crosswalk when the light was yellow, with rear tire on the first line of crosswalk, front tire almost reached the second line. At the moment the light turned to right, my whole car was in the crosswalk. And when light turned right, my front tire passed the second line of crosswalk.

So in my situation, did I violate the traffic law? Should I got to court and defend myself?

Thank you very much for your advice.

What state?
Did a police officer cite you, or were you caught on camera?
