What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan

The personal representative of the
estate of xxxxx filed a lawsuit against xxxxx and won. The confidential settlement was net $113,509.96. There are 6 heirs , one of them being the personal representative. Five of the heirs are getting $10,333.33. The PR is getting more by my calculations. The will said everything divided equally by 6 including the "residue of the estate distributed equally". What are your thoughts ?

The PR may be able to collect fees for his/her services...although, $60k does seem a bit excessive.
