You know you are wrong so you bring up something totally irrelevant. Not smart!

The OP was pretty vague, we dont know the whole story. If her boss can say she was late and didnt have a good attitude, its over, she will get denied. It sounds like she was warned about her conduct at some point as well. The burden of proof is on the claimaint, and in this case the claimant appears to just be an emotional person that just got canned. Your 30 years mean nothing in this case, stop it.

Q4P. I'll go get more popcorn.

Edit- Also, I posted a thread last night that still hasnt appeared anywhere on the site. What gives?

No idea. Ask admin.

Because that would make her a crappy employee that deserved to get the boot. Shes especially screwed if there are time logs showing her continued tardiness.

If it is truly a case of "not a good fit" then you people are probably right, but it sounds like OP is at least slightly incompetent.

And being slightly incompetent is not a bar to UI.

But you already know that, right?

That isnt what I said. Being warned about being late and showing up late again is. Throw in a bad attitude and its ballgame. That would make it 100% her fault.

Youve probably won on terms of slight incompetence before though right?

Maybe you might get more respect if you use your big-boy words. (aka Legal jargon.) Is a bad attitude something that denies unemployment? No. Is being late something that denies unemployment? No.

What specific thing (While recognizing bad attitude and being late *could* deny unemployment under the correct facts.) did the OP do?

Never had to file, so ... no. Try again.

But you could probably get help for your memory problems.

Why are you arguing with people who clearly know more than you?

Yea there are some well spoken users here,

This will be good. Please pass the popcorn.

Well you obviously know next to nothing about UI rules.

Great introduction to the site.

Why am I wasting my time here?

I said she will be denied for tardiness and attitude, stop nit picking because I decided to add an extra adjective.

Can you please read my posts before making such stupid comments? I said her post was very vague, she comes across like an emotional girl that just lost her job because she screwed up. This argument is pointless without all the facts, or the employers side. I am basing my opinion off instinct, because 9/10 when somebody gets fired it it entirely their own fault, and there are clues she totally deserved it.

If the employer shows she was tardy, warned about it, and the behavior continued, she WILL get denied. What is your argument against that?

Speaking of a great introduction to the site...:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Theres no reason for me to use my "big boy words" when everybody else is being nasty. I really dont care anymore though, I only signed up to post my own thread. OP post results when you get your determination.
