Wisconsin: I contacted HR today to make sure my pre-employment/ on-boarding process is going good. My main concern being that I was not told to take a drug test, which is mandatory.
When I ask HR about it, they stated that I took one. I replied that I did not. They simply re-stated that I took one already and nothing is needed on my part. Should I insist that I take a drug test? Job is in financial industry.

HR is the one that enforces this rule, and if HR believes this rule has already been complied with, then there's nothing you can - or should - do to change that.

However, you should be ready to comply with the request for a drug test at the drop of a hat, should they discover the mistake.

Make a written down note of exactly when you followed up with HR about the drug test and (ideally) exactly who you spoke to - a little cya.
