Hello Everyone,
So since my other question was never answered I am going to ask this one instead my friend came down late August now looking up a few things I saw this - 6 Months per Calander Year

Now if she was here late August 2016 and to Janurary 2017 that is 4 months and a few days

Now my Question: Does the 6 months start over since it is a new year? or how does that work?

Here is a link to your thread that had 19 responses: https://forum.freeadvice.com/child-...ada-owing-child-support-possibile-626931.html

Here is a link to the similar thread you created that received no responses, probably because your concerns were addressed in your earlier thread: https://forum.freeadvice.com/immigr...anting-stay-usa-how-do-i-help-her-627907.html

One thread is all that is needed for related questions, and one thread is what this forum prefers, so the forum members do not have to review posting histories to understand the background necessary to address a poster's concerns.

I keep wanting to click that blank white spot where the like button used to be.

Nope.

12 month period ... not January to January.

Is there a reason why your friend hasn't spoken to an immigration attorney?

Perhaps because EsmeGraham can't remember whether his friend is an American wanting to go to Canada or a Canadian wanting to stay in the US?

Maybe once Esme figures out what his own nationality is and what the nationality of his friend is, he can better determine which immigration attorney his friend should consult. :)

Well so that you all are aware my friend who is in her 40's who was going to Canada yes but since the child support could of stopped her she didn't want to risk it so she never went to Canada at all.

My other friend who is in her 30's went to the USA has no children, was married in 2004 got divorced in 2011 and came here to the USA late August.

10 Year Age Difference between the two friends I think its safe to say there not the same person don't you all think so??

Another Question: How long would she have to go back to Canada for to come back to the USA for another 6 months?

You can't even keep your location straight within the same sentences.
