Hello,

I am an international Ph.D. student on F1 visa and I have the plan to graduate in summer. I am from one of the seven countries affected by the recent executive order. So I have a couple of options now and I don't know which one is better. I appreciate if someone can help me.

1. Stay on F1 visa and not graduate until December to see what will happen.
2. I have a job offer that they apply for h1b academy for me (no cap). They accepted to change the job requirement from PhD to M.Sc, so that they can apply for h1b before I graduate (since h1b expedite is suspended). So if they change it to M.Sc, is it more possible that my h1b application will be denied?
3. Apply for O1 visa.

Thanks, in advance, for your help.

This is something you really need to discuss with an attorney. I'm sorry, but it goes beyond the scope of an Internet forum.
