My voice was recorded over the phone and put on youtube trying to show bad customer service. This video was forwarded to my supervisors. I want the video taken down. Not because I think they are wrong, only because it is out of context and paints a bad picture.

Can I do anything?

In Wisconsin

You can file a request with YouTube to have the video removed.

Here is a link to the recording laws in Wisconsin, published by the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press (2012): https://www.rcfp.org/reporters-recording-guide/state-state-guide/wisconsin

Who recorded you, who created the video, and why was this published online?

How was the recording with video taken out of context? Why do you believe you were defamed or placed in a false light?

Is your name mentioned during the call?

There would be no issue for Bdh825 if s/he was not identified or identifiable in the recording or video - although if the company Bdh825 works for was disparaged, that could lead to issues for Bdh825. Bdh's identity potentially could be disclosed should a lawsuit be filed over the video content.

I was mainly asking because YouTube would be much more likely to take it down if her name was mentioned. There was no mention of a lawsuit just getting it taken down.

Ah. Right.

YouTube will not remove a video "just because." There has to be a legitimate reason for requesting its removal. Additional information from Bdh825 on the video contents could be helpful.

I would be interested in knowing whether Bdh825 was used in the video as an example of bad customer service. I could see where, if the recording was edited or context not provided, the recording could cause employment problems for Bdh825.

Context may not matter, depending on what the "bad customer service" consisted of. If the recording is of the OP berating and cursing at the caller, then context is largely irrelevant.

True. That would probably be considered bad customer service regardless of context. :)
