Hahaha! That's priceless. I bet that prosecutor never dreamed he'd be exposed in the media for his outrageous behavior. He's probably so furious it didn't go the way he expected it to. Hahahaha!!!!:D

Ok so the news reported Trivett told Ahmed the bump was on purpose. She should not escape this totally unscathed but...

It still doesn’t excuse ahmed’s actions taken after she refused to apologize. They are clearly vindictive intended to punish Trivett not for the bump but for refusing to apologize to him. I still see it as Ahmed not being the type of person I want as a prosecutor. A prosecutor should simply not be acting out of revenge for some slight they believe they were subjected to.

Trivett told the reporter she told Ahmed she bumped him on purpose? Or did Ahmed tell the reporter that Trivett told him that? I'd hardly call what she did a bump. If anything she brushed against him at most but whatever.

My understanding is that when Ahmed stormed into her office and accused her of slamming into him in the hall, Trivett said, by explanation of why she brushed into him, "you were standing in the middle of the hallway". The Chief Prosecutor is stating that that comment SHOWS intent and that it was purposeful. She wasn't saying she did it on purpose but explaining why she might have bumped into him.

Wonder how well it will go if during closing, the defense attorney makes the argument, Even the CHIEF PROSECUTOR Sherri Bevan Walsh, says you can't believe video and then read her quote. Hence you can't believe the video in this case either and there is reasonable doubt.

That I couldn’t say. It wasn’t clear where the statement came from.

The prosecutor's office no doubt wishes this whole incident would just go away because it clearly shows how slanted their thinking is. Are these the people we want prosecuting cases? Yeech!

I'm curious: what (if any) effect could this have on future trials where he's the prosecutor? Doesn't this speak to his honesty and judgment? For our defense attorneys, would you/could you bring this up as proof of his tendency towards hyperbole, if not outright dishonesty?

Defense attorneys are already talking about how this can be turned against him.

Call day today

I was there and Ahmed was not. He apparently has tendered his resignation and moved on to other things. Don’t know if it was a forced resignation. Www.ohio.com has the story.

Interesting - although not all that surprising. :)

Pretty sure you'll see him advertising his services as a "slip and fall" attorney during daytime reruns of the Brady Bunch.....

You know...I really feel sorry for his family, because they are going to suffer for his arrogance.

It is the media's fault. Totally and completely -- at least that is what he says. He doesn't see where he did anything wrong.
