My daughter is being sponsored by her dad to migrate to Canada, i've received a declaration form stating that i've read and understand that by signing and returning said form I may never see my child again. What are the steps can I take to ensure my legal rights to see said child after she migrates? Is she able to obtain a visa to visit the state while she is on filing to test if she will be liking d environment she lives in? What are my rights as her mother after signing the declaration form.

Where do you and your daughter live now? Why are you allowing her to migrate to Canada if you are not also migrating?

Well, that is your decision. However, I find it very disturbing that you are being asked to sign paperwork stating that you acknowledge that you may never see your child again.

This forum is for United States law only. We are unable to give you any advice on migrating to Canada or on any Canadians forms that they are asking you to sign. I just find it odd, in this day and age, that they would ask you to sign a form like that.
