I am trying to sue a doctor for malpractice. The problem is I do not have any contact information for her and another defendant won't give me the contact information necessary to file a malpractice lawsuit . He is deliberately making it impossible to sue his doctor friend. Do I have any recourse . Texas

When you went to a med-mal attorney, explained to them what was happening and asked them for assistance, what did that attorney say?

Please define "contact information". And the friend does not have to give you a thing with out a court order to do so.

A medical malpractice suit is not a do-it-yourself legal action. I recommend you find a medical malpractice attorney in your area to discuss your medical complaint.

That said, doctors are state-licensed. You can get some information on your doctor, and you can file a complaint, on the following Texas Medical Board website:

There is no "trying" to sue. There is only sue or not sue. And if you are stymied because you can't get contact information for your defendant, you hire a lawyer. A lawyer knows how to do it, you don't.
