Those are credit cards, so they should be considered to be open accounts. Except maybe Wells Fargo...is that a credit card too? I had someone tell me that it was not true that the SOL for credit cards was 3 years in Oklahoma, that they go by the SOL that the card was issued. Thats stupid...

I had a collection agency calling my inlaws a few years ago---we assumed they were leaving messages at their house, b/c they'd just looked up phone numbers and gone by last names?? not sure... But, when I reported them to the BBB, for harrassing me after I asked them not to call, they denied...

I have now sent another letter to this place asking them not to call again, and mentioned that I've already sent them one letter, and that by them continuing to call me repeated times a day, they are violating the FDCPA. This time, I overnighted it, instead of certified mail...b/c they still...

The 2 times they've called since getting my other letter, they've left the same message that they did before I sent it...that time is of the essance and that I need to call them back...which is the gist of what most of those places say, so that you will call them back. Which, as I've already...

Just tell them again to leave me alone basically, and to not call? and mention the things that chase mentioned...I've been keeping track of the dates and times that folks have called and gotten names as well.....the bad thing about that is, names is something that places like that use---false...

I checked the tracking number for the letter I mailed, and according to it, it was delivered on Feb. 10th---the same week that I mailed it. Now the question is, what do we do next, since they have gotten it and they arent abiding by the request to not call!
