    Commercial lease witnesses

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Texas. Well I screwed up on this one. I rented a commercial building from a church pastor. In our final draft of the lease it states that we have an option to cancel the lease after the first year with a 60 day notice. A year later...

    co maker notification

Thanks for your responses. The bank is saying that this loan is simply the second renewal of the original year 2000 loan. I have asked them for documents pertaining to the renewals, to which their attorney answered there are none. He stated that it is just a revolving line of credit that was...

    Green Card Renewal

Thank you for your help. I did not ever become a citizen. When I came over, permanent residency was almost the equivalent of citizenship with the exception of jury duty and voting, neither of which was a hobby of mine. I guess I'll go down and talk to the local office. Thanks again.

    shady owners? help!

In Texas, and probably in your state also, your benefits are determined by all of the employers that you have worked for over a period of years. You would receive benefits normally under your circumstances since you are not quitting your job. Your current employer will probably be assessed for...

buying out a privately held business

I am not a lawyer but I own several small businesses. My main concern would be a full disclosure of all of the bills by the owner. If you agree on the basic terms of buying the business from him/her I would get an attorney for sure. I would get the owner to sign a notarized affidavit that there...

    Forced psychiatric drugs?

You might try contacting the Citizens Commission on Human Rights in Los Angeles. That organization has been protecting people from psychiatric abuses for 30 years. Many state laws such as the new one in Texas that prevents teachers from recommmending psychiatric drugs were initiated by that group.

Collection - Home Owner Association Fee

Sounds excessive to me. In my jurisdiction when I collected debts it was illegal to add collection fees. To get a fast answer, call a collection agency in your state. The HOA probably has some language in their rules that allow this. You may have trouble if there is. I am in an HOA myself. You...

US student loan repayment in Canada

I used to collect student loans. It didn't matter if you lived in Bangledesh. I would simply forward it to a branch of my company in that country. There are agreements between nations especially the US and Canada on lawsuits. I don't think that it will be that easy to get out of paying. Sorry.
