Did she start paying you money back and then stopped? if so, that's proof of a loan. if she never started to pay you back then your either gonna have to make her say that she agreed that it was a loan or prove that a loan was actually made.

Sue your daughter for the money she owes you. you should be focusing on your daughter, help her out with anything you can. If "the wrong kind of lifestyle" invovles drugs, encourage her to get help. Money should be the last thing to focus on.
