As far as I know when you're on parole you waive your right to not consent to a search. I think they're allowed to search you or your property at any time for any reason or no reason whatsoever.

If your parents won't hire you a private attorney, before you agree to ANYTHING, demand to speak with a public defender so that you can describe the circumstances under which the cop found the pipe on you and possibly get that search thrown out.

I am not an attorney, but my research into your question tells me that Louisiana has a category of possession of cocaine under 28g but not statuatory minimum amount to constitute possession. I guess basically possession of any amount there could be considered possession.

I would definately fight this if I were you. Get your parents to hire you a private lawyer and make it real expensive for them: motions to suppress, depositions, discovery, etc.
