Kansas the last state in which i resided.
Hi all! i need your help as best as possible. I lived in the US, various states, since 1986, entering under F-1, and overstayed from 1990 until July 22, 2003 when I stupidly left the beautiful US to return to my country of birth, Trinidad. The 10 year bar does apply to me, however I understand that there is a waiver of inadmissability which i may apply for and receive, and I will be allowed to reenter the US. Is there anyone out there who knows about this scenario or who may give me some advice on how to reenter the US as Trinidad is a difficult country in which to live and I am a foreigner here now, also have not gotten a job since I returned.
I will greatly appreciate any advice and thank you all in advance.
I will also like to mention to any person (s) reading this thread, who may be living in the uS illegally. DO NOT EVER LEAVE THE US! USA is the best country in the world with the nicest people and even if you have to spend the rest of your life there illegally, it is far better than returning to a country where there is horrible crime, unemployment, high cost of living, terrible services and many other maladies. God bless America!
I have just been informed that the 10 year bar is not an absolute bar from returning to the US if one has left the country, and the waiver of inadmissability is the means to return....thanks a lot for the information and best of luck to you all!

My response:

Oh, I love those street parades, with the wild colors and costumes! Just wonderful and beautiful.

Thanks for making your mistake! Get used to it. That's where you're staying for the next 10 years. One less foreigner in the good old United States!

My response:

Stupid, stupid, stupid foreigner. Why don't you read English? He didn't "have to leave". He left voluntarily. Here's an idea . . . Instead of crapping on Trinidad, you'll have 10 years to help make it a better place. Do something with your time, ass-hole!

Antony I am sorry to hear about the predicament you are in. Unfortunately you are in a pickle now. There is frankly no way out of the 10 year bar for you and I have heard chances of getting a visa once after someone gets barred from the country is almost slim to nil. I would try make the best of what you have in your country, start a new life and hope for the best. Keep up your chin though..who knows in 10 year we may have some relaxation in rules here.
And being a long-time lurker I have finally registered to put 'I am always *******' back into the rat-hole he belongs too. Dont take Liable rude comments to heart because he most likley lives on unemployment(judging by the number of his posts) appears to have nothing better to do in his life than trying to be a internet big-mouth spreading his vile and hateful agenda. He most likely fears immigrants because they are much more successful than he can ever be. You know it hurts when highschool dropout loosers like him lives in a rundown roaches ridden apartment with a junky 20 year old clunky piece of a car while watching a hard-working, college educated, tax paying immigrant living in a big house with a bevy of flashy new cars adorning his driveway and american-born blondes flocking to his sides(that would be me  ) .
Comeon boy...for a change take someone on who's genetic level is much higher than your or you can only feel like a man making fun of poor people who are in trouble, need help and are emotionally shattered. I think thats why major companies are running left & right sponsoring capable immigrants like me to equalize the ever increasing junkie, red-neck and hick native population like your which is tainting the american gene-pool. :D

I didn't read the whole post, and I won't banter with you about another member who you seem to have a problem with, but let me say this....................

I hope to GOD this country does not relax on it's rules. The world will simply have to deal with the facts of what happened on 9-11, and may not be able to gain access to this country.

I further hope that in ten years our "HomeLand" security department shakes out all the ants in their pants, and is up and running.

Our country cannot relax, even in ten years, this country and the world has turned a mile stone.

Well who is saying that we should drop our guard. Maybe the immigratin laws can be little more forgiving to honest people who have lived here for years paying taxes(and not ripping of the government by living on unemployment) and being law-abiding citizens.
Anyway I have a problem with liable because he surely doesn't represent the majority of american born population here and I just want to make that clear on this forum which is mostly inhabitated by immigrants. I have so many american-born friends that i cant even count. They are all very respectful people towards other cultures and immigrants living here. I know there will always be rotten eggs in hte basket like Liable but the majority of americans understands that america is a nation of immigrants and immigrants working along with native americans have made this country great. All of liable 20,000+ posts are nothing more than rude, condascending, sarcastic and humaliating remarks towards the immigrant population. Someone has to stand up to him.

Actually, I find most Americans having the same view on this. You are nuts if you don't think that at the block party everyone is discussing this. We are not "BAD" people, in fact high income for the Bay Area, but rest assured this is a discussion among many Americans.

The laws that are in place are there for a reason.
