What is the name of your state?Kansas
After receiving quite a few responses from my initial information request some time ago, I would like to follow up on the information I have received locally from attorneys and consultants in the country in which i presently reside, Triinidad. I have determined that a technicality exists as concerns persons who have held I-94 entry forms that have been stamped as duration of stay or as seen on the I-94, D/S. Please seek appropriate advice and possibly some of the professionals who frequently monitor the threads may add additional advice or comments. Please note that everyone MUST have an opinion or something to say and as such please be open minded and appreciative of any response that may appear to this thread.
The ten year bar is a serious matter and as such I certainly expect that anyone subjected to this bar do their research and think with their brain before they make any firm decisions on any actions antici[pated, as the impact and results of any action will be tremendous in its own manner.
A great 4th to you all in the beautiful USof A and the best to a beautiful country and its wonderful people.

Actually, you didn't really say anything productive in this posting.

The only real downside to the 10 year bar, or any bar for that matter is the fact that when the bar is up, they are allowed to try to re-enter. We should reserve the right to renew!

My response:

The key word is "try". They're usually stopped again at the entry point and turned away, to wait another 10 years. It's up to the Immigration Officer.

Thanks for the responses!

The objective of this particular forum is to assist individuals who are experiencing problems and as such, the exchange of information is essential in this process. It is wonderful to have people like yourselves responding to all the different threads and thus information that will be useful in one way or the other is passed along. I certainly may not get back to the US before or even after the ten year bar is past but there are other options to anyone once there is life, as Mr Liable, mr Equalizer and Paridise indicated to me in their kind responses. But unfortunately not everyone has all the answers and possibilities and as such, something is learned from everyones' response. I am simply trying to pass along information to hopefully decent individuals who want to remain in the US as residents and eventually citizens and as such, I have already passed along the information I have gained to many people through this forum and other means. Thanks a lot to all the responses and remember, there are numerous people from whom one may get information, so always shop around and be thankful for all these wonderful people and responses.
