i am 17 and 5 months pregnant in wisconsin my boyfriend is 19 and lives in florida. my grandparents sent me to my aunt's to live. i have not told anyone that i am pregnant because i was afraid they would want me to get an abortion. i will not be 18 until april of 2002 my baby will be born in november. can they make me give my baby up for adoption or do i become the leagal age when i give birth and can i legally leave wisconsinand go back to florida? please help me i an desperate..

Your post has probably not received a response because you posted in capital letters. That's a no-no!

I looked through a lot of WI laws this afternoon and was unable to find anything on emancipation. In many states, becoming a parent in itself is emancipating. If this is true in WI, you could return to FL following the birth.

You said you haven't told anyone you're pregnant because you're afraid they'll want you to have an abortion or place your baby for adoption. No one can do that!

I sincerely hope you're not letting your fears keep you from receiving prenatal care. Seeing a doctor regularly during your pregnancy is VERY important for both you and the baby.

Why did your grandparents sent you to your aunt's. They obviously don't know of your pregnancy. Your parents weren't mentioned. Do your grandparents have legal custody of you?
