I bought a 2017 Chevrolet silverado 1500 back in November. In late January i opened a case with GM regarding vibration issues. After 1.5 months and 3 visits and changing 2 tires they informed me the vibration was normal. I have been threatening them with a lawyer. Then last week i recieved a letter from GM. The letter stated that an error had been made on my truck window sticker. At the time of purchase my window sticker said the truck was 35% mexican parts, 48% Canadian parts, and the engine was made in the U.S. The new label informs me that my truck is really 56% mexican, 38% Canadian, and the engine was made in Mexico. GM has informed me that i can not sell my truck with the label i purchased it under, which is exactly what they did when they sold me the truck.

I'm in Tennessee but purchased the vehicle in Alabama. I'm wanting GM to buy it back and pay all fees associated with the truck

You can speak to an attorney in Alabama to see what is possible.

Under Alabama's lemon laws, dealers are not liable for lemons but, if a vehicle qualifies as a lemon (2 years old or less, has 3 attempts or more to repair issues, has been out of service 30 days in possession of manufacturer or dealer), then you can have the vehicle replaced with a comparable new car or you can request a refund of full purchase price (including tax, title and registration fees, any finance charges accumulated).

Here is a link to Alabama's lemon laws: http://www.ago.state.al.us/File-Alabama-Motor-Vehicle-Lemon-Law

Good luck.
