Wrong... The officer notifed you that your license was suspended by the DMV. It is not the officer's job to serve you such notice. The statute requires such notice be issued and "mailed" by the DMV... not the officer.

I'll take a wild guess and say that the DMV did not have your current address on file when the notice was mailed.

sited me for two things;
1) suspeded Lice
2) Driving without a valid lic

I suspect the officer truly believed the poster did not get the notice, hence why he offered to give the poster time to have the vehicle moved.

But the office can't sit around for hours.

Instead of "well thanks for trying officer." the poster heaps invective on the police.
