BRAVO! That is good news!!! I really had wondered if they actually could do that, especially considering your specific circumstances. If all the events had happened, just exactly as you've stated them, then I don't understand the reasoning behind the input of the others here who responded to this thread. It's good to hear that you finally prevailed. So then, did the courts return all of the $500 to your friend? Very curious. If not, why?

Be good!

That's crazy!!!

Man, I just don't see where 1/2 of these folks come from! Those of U that replied did nothing but doubt him, and bring in all these hypotheticals, "if this, if that" basicly shot him down at every level.

Based on what the OP said in his first post, if entirely true (in which he hadn't given anyone any reason to doubt him), it was quite obvious to me that those funds needed to go back to his buddy, and should've been released directly to the friend who posted the bond. Furthermore, there was more than enough information available between the CSR people, court attendants, and bond agent, to have reasonable belief that the loot was not to OP's and WAS his buddys.

It is really sad to hear about people getting jacked around by the system, what's worse is that they were probably hoping that nobody would contest it. I'd bet money that there are a lot of people found in this type of situation that don't ever stand up and fight for themselves, and that's how the court folks want it.

And you dredge up a post that is three months old for what? mental masterbation?

It makes absolutely no difference with regards to the timeline on this, none!

You seem bummed, is it because the original author had actually prevailed with his case here, or what?
